Tara graduated from London College of Fashion and was immediately apprenticed to a young Philip Treacy.  Tara spent 3 years learning the intricate art of millinery, initially running the Ready to Wear collection.  This was followed by 2 years helping to create some memorable pieces seen on the international catwalk of Gianni Versace, Valentino, Chanel, Thierry Mugler and Rifat Ozbek. It was here that Tara truly fell in love with millinery with the passion that her clients adore.

In 1998 Tara launched her own label, Tara O'Callaghan Millinery, in Parsons Green, London creating individual pieces for a broad client base and selling her ready to wear collection to Selfridges, (London) Le Bon Marche, (Paris) Calypso, (USA) as well as many independent boutiques throughout England.

In 2007 Tara had the honour of being chosen as the milliner of the 2007 Vodaphone Epson Derby.  Tara has enjoyed collaborating with many designers and has featured in numerous national and International publications.

Tara has continued to make hats intermittently over the past 30 years and brings her vast creative knowledge to each individual design, ensuring that your hat is comfortable and exquisitely crafted. Now all you have to do is chose your style!

Tara O'Callaghan Millinery is based just outside Salisbury, Wiltshire.  However Tara's hat creations have been commissioned by discerning clients in Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset as well as Gloucestershire, London and the Home Counties
